The Vocational training Program for Beauty Care (Nail care) and Food and Beverage under KOICA will start this April 5, 2017, 9:00 AM - 400 PM. The students 18 and above with Developmental disability will be trained for Food and Beverage for 6 months. The deafs will be trained for Beauty Care (Nail Care) for 2 months.
Dorothy, teacher in-charge in Vocational Training, had been visiting different schools and barangays to screen students who are capable of being trained and can handle to have a job after the training.
We have also contacted a several Companies requesting that they accept our students for On-the-Job training and later on hire them if the students are capable of working there.
We continued sending emails to salons within Commonwealth requesting for them to accept our students for on-the-job training and later on as their regular employee provided our students would meet their requirements. Teacher Dorothy and Asst. Teacher Kazandra are scheduled to visit salons every Thursday and Fridays.

We are aslo negotiating with Radio and Tv stations to schedule guesting to promote and advertise our Foundation as well as our programs /projects.
March 17, 2017 we held the orientation for the beneficiaries of the vocational program. Teachers incharge together with yours truly introduced Grain foundation and explained what KOICA is. We also explained the rules and regulations within the duration of the training.
We have also contacted local radio stations and requested for guesting so we can advertise our foundation most specially our programs. We are now waiting for their response. In addition to that, we have also contacted our friends from local newspapers and asked for their rates on Print advertisement. We have requested to have it for free but it wasn’t granted. According to them, what they can do is to give us discount instead. Please see details below.
